Greetings!
It is with great excitement and pleasure that I welcome you to Young Scholars’ Academy for Discovery and Exploration! As you will come to recognize, Young Scholars’ Academy for Discovery and Exploration is rooted in creating an exceptional and vibrant learning environment for children, distinguished by our academic rigor and our focus on an integrated curriculum.
We are a school committed to the family, embracing the notion that the school is an extension of the home, and therefore we must work together to achieve success. It is our belief that all children have the ability to achieve greatness and become the person they dream of becoming. "I wish I could be...when I grow up," means that as a community we have the task of mentoring each student, guiding them, helping them to develop the self-confidence and discipline they need to do anything they set out to accomplish. It is a philosophy that I have subscribed to for a long time and will instill in each child we serve.
I look forward to establishing an active partnership with you and your family as your children develop as authors, fine artists, mathematicians, critical readers, worldly historians, and responsible and thoughtful community members.
